The last match of the Ospreys season was fished on Taylors Hole and was won Bailey Boydell with over 30lbs., second was Bailey Barton with 29lbs. and third was Jimmy Taylor wi th 23lbs. Very well done to Damian Atherton who came 4th with over 20lbs. A good end to the season for Bailey Boydell who had done well in his last seven matches
Another good match on Hall Lane with some big weights. Winner Bailey Barton almost 158lbs., second Bailey Boydell with 128 lbs and third Finaly Grant with 113lbs. Well done to Max Hudson with 85lbs. 12oz.: A new recrut to the over 50lbs club. Last match next week at Taylors Hole.
Fir Tree 21st August, 2021 Some brilliant weights; three over 100lbs. on the day. Match won by Bailey Barton with 149 lbs, second Finlay Grant with 122lbs and third Bailey Boydell with 105lbs. 825 lbs weighed in by 10 junior anglers better than many senior anglers!!!
Fir Tree – The Dads and Lads match; only Joe Goldthorpe good enough beat Bailey Barton (81lbs. 15), Finlay Grant second in the juniors with 74lbs. 12 closely follwed by Bailey Boydell with over 73lbs. A good day for all
Some good weights at Taylors Hole on the 4th Match. Winner Finlay Grant 116lbs 5oz, second Bailey Boydell with 104lbs and third Toby greenhalgh with over 40 lbs.
Some brilliant results on the 3rd match at Hall Lane. Winner on the day Bailey Barton with 266lbs, 15oz, second Finlay Grant with 184lbs. 8oz, 3rd Bailey Boydell with 124lbs 3oz and 4th Dillon Bailey with 119 lbs. Well done everyone. Over 965lbs of fish weighed in total. Well done to everyone. Brillant day!!Fp
2nd Match of the Summer League at Marsh (Partridge), some good weights. Finlay Grant over 114lbs, second Bailey Barton with 63lbs and third Matt Littler with 62 lbs. Some good performances here
First match in the Summer League at Taylors Hole produced a brilliant weight of over 95lbs for Bailey Barton, a good weight too for Finlay Grant weighing over 45 lbs. Third was Dylan Bailey with 35lbs. Only 9 fished.
Match 10, which ends the spring session of the season was again won by Finlay Grant with over 40 lbs, to make it 3 wins in a row, Matt Littler was a good second with 23lbs 12, and third was Bailey Barton. Full results above
Match 9 used the small water on Springview; a new challenge. Weights were low but Finlay Grant was again the winner with a weight of 4lbs. 12 oz, second was Bailey Barton with 3lbs. 13. oz. with Matt Littler 3rrd with 2lbs. 4oz Bailey Barton lost several carp
Match 8 on Taylor’s Hole won by Finlay Grant with a brilliant performance to produce a weight 0f 127 lbs. (f1’s and silver fish) second was Matt Litller with a good weight of over 55 lbs. 3rd Bailey Boydell with 31lbs. 3oz
Match 7 on Widdows was won by Matt Littler with 20 lbs. 12oz, second was Bailey Barton with 16lbs. 1oz and third was Bailey Boydell with 1olbs.
Match 6 on Taylors Hole won by Jimmy Taylor with the very last cast and weighing in at 28 lbs. 12 pushing Bailey Barton into second place with 28lbs. 7oz. Third was Rhys Woodward with 24lbs. 5oz only 6 oz in front of Matt Littler.
Match 5 on Firs Park Lake. Something a little different this one. Some good bream and tench caught but also some very poor weights. Winner on the day Toby Greenhough with 11lbs. 10 oz (including three good bream), Second Dylan Bailey with 10lbs. 9oz (3 tench and a bream), third Matt Littler 3lbs 2 (including a tench approx 3lbs).
Match 4. Another cold wet day nothing like spring or summer. Winner on the day Josh Thompson with a well earned 20lbs. 3oz, second was Dylan Bailey with 18lbs. 8oz and third Finlay Grant with 16lbs. 2oz. Well done again to everyone who braved out the elements.
The third match was on Taylors Hole. Weather horrendous, heavy rain and wind. 10. Fished.
Match won by Finlay Grant with 52lbs. 9oz. great result, second Jimmy Taylor with 45 lbs. not bad after never using a pole before, third was Dylan Bailey with 40lbs. Well done to all, sticking it out on a very bad day
The second match was held at Widows Flash, fished very hard on the day and was disappointment to many. Matt Littler won the match with 5lbs 3oz , second was young Jackson Almond, a few days after his birthday and third was McCauley Gater with 3lbs 12oz. well done to everyone who stuck at it, in a hard day.
The match season for 2021 began at Taylors Hole with a win for Bailey Barton. Another good start for his season with a catch of over 33lbs. Second was Jack Follows doing well in one of his first matches. Third was Dylan Bailey. The best fish competition was won by Matt Littler with a carp of approx 8lbs. narrowly beating Jamie Orange. Well done to all those who fished on a difficult day, with some low weights on the day. Nice to see young Izzy there and a big thanks to the BOYDELL FAMILY FOR THEIR GENEROUS SPONSORSHIP SUPPORTING THE JOE BOYDELL MEMORIAL CUP MATCH.

THE MATCH ON SPEY WAS WON BY BAILEY BARTON WITH A BRILLIANT 62LS. DESTROYED THE REST OF THE FIELD. 2ND WAS LUCAS ORANGE WITH A GOOD WEIGHT OF 30LSBS AND 3RD THIRD THE CONSISTENT BAILEY BOYDELL.
THE MATCH ON COVEY WAS WON BY LUCAS ORANGE WITH 54 LBS. GETTING TOO GOOD IS LUCAS
SECOND WAS FINDLAY GRANT WITH 43LBS. AND THIRD LIAM WRIGHT. WELL DONE LADS
ANOTHER BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE BY BAILEY BARTON WITH A WEIGHT OF OVER 125lbs.
Second was Matt Littler with over 66 lbs, and third Dylan Bailey with 60lbs. Well done Issac Orange 50lbs+
Two brilliant performances at Taylors Hole. Bailey Barton winning with over 90 lbs. and second Finlay Grant with 89lbs. Third the consistent Liam Wright. Well done to all who fished.
The Baileys fought out a good match at Hall Lane on the 15th August, 2020. Bailey Barton winning with a weight of 107lbs. Bailey Boydell had a weight of 87lbs for second and third was Liam Wright with 78 lbs. Some good weights on a very hot day. Well done lads
